    Let's get started

You are an individual with individual needs and an individual path to follow. Counseling with me is not cookie cutter and I will endeavor to meet you where you are and walk along side you on your path as you explore healing, coping, and finding meaning and joy.

Some modalities that I may employ while working with you include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I use a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach in my work.

I have space in my practice for in person counseling and tele-health all along the northern front range and nearby plains. If you live in a rural area with little access to mental health care, please reach out to me. I may travel within a reasonable amount of distance from Longmont.

    Women

Are you an adolescent struggling with a relationship, or a parent of an adolescent who just will not respect you. Might you be considering college, marriage, babies, career changes? Are you a caregiver who cannot imagine the idea of self-care? Are you nearing retirement and exploring all that this means? Might you be navigating end of life planning, coping with an aging body, or grief. We go through many many moments in life that are hard to navigate alone. My goal is to provide a safe space to explore these moments and how to cope with them.

    Religious Trauma

Are you longing for healing from your religious experience? Do you wish to repair your relationship with God? Do you wish to simply leave faith behind and all of the fear that comes with that? I'm here for you.

    Inspirational Quotes

“Perfectionism is a self destructive and addictive belief system that fuels this primary thought: If I look perfect, and do everything perfectly, I can avoid or minimise the painful feelings of shame, judgment, and blame.”

    Brene Brown

“Somehow we’ve come to equate success with not needing anyone. Many of us are willing to extend a helping hand, but we’re very reluctant to reach out for help when we need it ourselves. It’s as if we’ve divided the world into “those who offer help” and “those who need help.” The truth is that we are both.”

    Brene Brown

“Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome.”

    Brene Brown
